Birds (aves) amazing feathered creatures every breed so different. The 1 thing that is unique to birds and only birds is there feathers. Feathers have many jobs like keeping them warm, steering them when there flying and some birds even use their feathers to camouflage. Birds are warm blooded animals but their not mammals, birds are their own species. Birds come in all shapes, sizes and colours and that is how you determine what breed a bird is. All birds have a bill or a beak this is their mouth they speak, eat and drink with their beak. Birds do not give birth like humans, they have an egg grow inside them and then when it is laid, the mother sits on until it hatches. All birds have wings, they use their wings to fly however, not all birds can fly like chickens. Every continent on this planet has more than a few breeds of birds. Scientists believe that birds evolved from saurischian dinosaurs about 145 million years ago.
