Mammals are warm blooded animals that have fur or hair and most of them give birth to live young, exeptions are echidnas and platypus. Mammals are among the most adaptable animals on the planet, they are found on every continent and every ocean, one reason for there success is the way they move, moving in every form such as walking, running, jumping, climbing, hopping, swinging, digging and burrowing. aquatic mammals can swim, shuffle and dive, some can even glide. Many carnivores such as Jaguars, tigers and polar bears live solitary lives. On the other hand herbivores usually live alone examples are rabbits, zebras, buffalo and bison.
